2K a year KINGS CREEK ANIMAL HOSPITAL has an opening available in our Kennel/Boarding area for someone with a love for companion animals and a strong work ethic.
Required:
Prior experience in handling dogs/cats and has obtained a High School diploma or equivalent.
Job description and environment includes but is not limited to:
Feeding, watering and medicating boarded animals.
Cleaning and sanitizing inside and outside kennels.
Monitoring animals for behavior issues or illnesses, some of which have special needs.
Maintaining simple reports and forms.
Assisting Veterinary Technicians as needed.
Performing other duties as assigned, working as a team and independently.
Exposure to heat, cold, wetness, humidity, machinery, odors and noise.
Candidate will have skills and attributes in the following areas:
Organization, multitasking, effective communication and dependability.
Working Hours:
Mon-Fri 7:
30 AM - 5:
00 PM; Sat 7:
30 AM - 12:
