gov) Position Description As a maintenance support technician, this position performs administrative support related work in a maintenance office.
The primary duty of this position is maintaining the section's asset inventory such as materials, supplies, and equipment.
Essential Duties:
Answers the telephone, evaluates requests, answers questions, routes messages, and/or serves as receptionist or front desk assistant Assists district personnel with annual inventory of supplies, stockpiles and minor equipment Conducts monthly spot inventories, verifies inventory findings, reconciles and coordinates with Business Services on adjustments needed Reviews, prepares and/or negotiates applicable program purchases for services, office materials, supplies, tools and/or equipment and monitors contracts Processes receipts and invoices for payment Maintains materials inventory Inputs and maintains daily production reports and compiles monthly reports for manager Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

Education:
High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience:
None Maintenance Support Tech II:
Education:
High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience:
1 year in administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience.
(Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent) Maintenance Support Tech III:
Education:
High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience:
3 years in administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience.
(Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent) Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver's license.
This position requires driving a state vehicle.
