Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care.
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
This position requires knowledge and experience in hospice care, medication administration, and resident rights.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients - Support clients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating and toileting - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients - Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their privacy and dignity at all times - Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is preferred - Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing personal care facilities - Familiarity with medication administration procedures - Ability to accurately take vital signs and recognize any abnormalities - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and medical professionals - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record At our organization, we value our employees' dedication and hard work.
